Lenoir, NC – Mr. Dwight “Chuck” Warren Burgess, age 54, passed away on Friday, July 9, 2010 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Mr. Burgess was born in Wilkes County on November 24, 1955 to the late George Edison Burgess and Ina Brown Burgess.
Mr. Burgess is survived by his son, Daniel Burgess of Lenoir; his daughter, Patricia Hamilton of Wilmington; grandsons, Ian Hamilton and Asheton Burgess; brothers, George Burgess of Thomaston, GA, Harold Burgess of Lenoir and Gary Burgess of Watauga, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Mr. Burgess’ life will be held Sunday, July 10, 2010 at 6:00 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 10, 2010 from 5:00 until 6:00 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service.
